COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA) PROGRAM
A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program allows consumers to buy local, seasonal produce directly from the farmer. Buying local produce is fresher than anything you’ll find in the supermarket, thus offering a tastier and more nutritious product while supporting the local economy. Buying directly from our family farm helps us stay in business.

 How does the program work?

Currently we offer $100 shares.  You fill out an application in our store and purchase a $100 share and we open a CSA account in your name with $110 store credit.  The CSA membership card stays in our CSA accounts box and every time you shop in our store we deduct your purchase amount from your CSA account.  The money on your account may be used to pay for anything that is sold in our store including; plants, flowers, pick your own items, and donuts.  If you have a remaining balance as of December 31st then balance rolls over to the following year.  You may purchase additional shares at any time.

How does our program differ from other CSA programs?

Other CSA programs that we've studied offer $500-$600 shares and the farmer decides what produce the CSA member receives in weekly increments.  The farmer boxes up produce for each CSA member and the members are assigned dates for pick up.  We tried to make our program a little more flexible by allowing you to shop when it's convenient for you, purchasing only the produce you like, and hopefully you find the share rate more manageable.

What can you purchase with your CSA account?

You can purchase anything that we have available for sale in our store with your CSA account including; plants, flowers, donuts and pick your own items.  We are open 7 days a week from 8am - 6pm.

What are the advantages of becoming a CSA member?

By becoming a CSA member you are supporting local agriculture as well as the local economy and you receive a 10% discount with the purchase of every $100 share.  By advancing us this money, we are able to pay operating costs.  In turn, we provide you with fresh produce grown locally.  You are also supporting local economy by putting your money back into your community.  In addition, we hope that you find our program convenient, and the fresh produce delicious & beneficial to your family.
